First of all, on behalf of all the staff and employees of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation,

I would like to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes for good health to all the Vietnamese people living,

working, and studying in the Russian Federation.I am deeply honored to have been appointed by the President

of Vietnam as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiaryof the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian

Federation, and on June 4, 2021, I arrived in Moscow to assume my duties.

I myself studied and lived in the former Soviet Union (present-day Russia) from 1982 to 1990 and still retain many fond memories of the country and people of Russia. With the responsibility of being the Ambassador of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, I will strive to contribute my small part to further promote and strengthen the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. Since establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2012, cooperation between the two countries has developed strongly in all fields such as politics, economy and trade, military, science and technology, education, culture, and is now expanding into the field of COVID-19 vaccines, contributing many practical benefits to both sides.

For more than a year, the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Party and State of Vietnam have always shared the difficulties of our compatriots and expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude for the kind hearts and noble deeds of many people who have proactively supported, assisted, and coordinated various forms of support in the prevention and control of the disease, stabilizing lives, and joining hands with people in the country to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. To successfully fulfill the tasks assigned by the State in strengthening and promoting the bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in all fields in the current new situation, I and the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation always need the unwavering support and enthusiastic participation of the Vietnamese community, numbering hundreds of thousands of people living, working, and studying in the Russian Federation. I pledge to do my utmost within my capabilities and authority to contribute to promoting the work of associations and organizations, coordinating effectively with the central and local governments of the Russian Federation to create favorable conditions for all our compatriots to increasingly integrate into life in the host country and truly become an extension of the Embassy in people-to-people diplomacy, connecting and strengthening the close ties between the people of the two countries. Once again, I wish all members of the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation good health, prosperity, and happiness. We wish our community members continued success in upholding the spirit of solidarity and mutual support, always looking towards our beloved Vietnam with practical and effective contributions to building a more prosperous and beautiful Vietnam, while also serving as a bridge to strengthen and develop the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.
