Applications are submitted to the headquarters of Vietnamese diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad (hereinafter referred to as the Missions). Application submission and processing times: working days as stipulated by the Missions (excluding holidays and days off as prescribed by the host country and Vietnamese holidays and Tet).

The representative agency receives and processes the application. Required documents include: 01 copy of the document assigning the individual to work abroad, or 01 copy of the Decision or notification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the managing agency of the Vietnamese state-owned news agency or press abroad regarding the extension of the term of service; and a diplomatic passport or official passport with less than 6 months of validity remaining.

Receive the results directly at the agency's headquarters according to the application receipt.
